Graduating MFA artists Daniel Chen and Vicci Jang present a collection of their latest painting and sculptural studio work.

"Victoria Jang and Daniel Chen grew up in the peripheries of two cultures. Through the experience of acculturation and assimilation, while living under traditional Asian households, the artist produce work which reflect their lives and experiences of growing up Asian American. They have both undertaken careers which their parents abhor, but have overcome the stereotypes attributed most often to model minority model of servitude and submission.

Working twice as hard with half the success, these two decided long ago to break away from filial duty and are finding themselves the protagonists of their stories."
