Way Out West
Art City Project
Heron Arts was both a leading sponsor and host of the opening reception for Way Out West, the debut production of the Art City Project.
The Art City Project produces contemporary art installations that transform shared spaces, bringing art into everyday life by repurposing advertising and underused public space.
Way Out West placed artwork from 19 artists in public advertising space in San Francisco's Mission district, spanning 11 billboards, 4 bus shelters, and 3 bus takeovers.
